Description

A circular route starting from Can Pere Tià, which passes through wooded areas and paths in the Bell-lloc valley. Go to the start of the Can Pere Tià trail, close to the children’s park and follow this route, crossing the river. Continue straight on and then turn to the right where you head into a wood, leaving the river on the right-hand side. You can follow the signs all along this route, which is around 12 km in length, with some steep climbs and high technical difficulty, as there are some stretches with rocks, roots and rough ground.

Places of interest

Puig Cargol

Located at 357 m. There are two triangulation points, one of which has an enormous concrete base of some 4 m height which you can climb. The views are very limited by the wooded area where it is located.

Peak and Montagut dolmen

This is one of the highest points in the sea Gavarres at 265 m in height and it has good views. The Montagut dolmen is one of the oldest pieces of evidence of human settlement in the Valle de Bell-lloc. The Montagut dolmen is located in a dominant position with a great panoramic view. Only three slabs of this megalithic monument remain, one of which has an engraving in the form of a cross that was made at a later date to Christianise it.
