Description
A circular route starting from Can Pere Tià which passes through wooded areas and paths in the Valle de Bell-lloc. Go to the start of the Can Pere Tià trail, close to the children’s park and follow this route, crossing the river. Continue straight on and then you have to turn to the right where you head into a wood, leaving the river on the right-hand side.

You can follow the signs all along this route, which is some 5 km long and has a gentle elevation gain and mainly easy terrain without technical difficulties, although you will find some stretches with stones, roots and rough ground. You can see the mill of Mas Xifra de la Vall, the church of Santa Maria de Bell-lloc and the castle of Vila-romà. Once you have seen the castel of Vila-romà, carry on along the main trail on which, on the left you will find the walls that were built when the valley was inhabited to create terraces for growing vines. Further on, before a very tight curve towards the right, you can see an opening in the ground where water wells up naturally in rainy periods: this is the fountain of the dogs. Carry on along the same track, and rejoin the Can Pere Tià trail further down. Follow this until you arrive back at the start point.
